One step further
Got quite a bit done this weekend although you tell by looking at it. The more I try to clean up and remove the rubbish, the more rubbish I find. You start to dig and just below the surface you find brick, glass, plastic sheeting, bones…!
I shifted four heavy doors and cleared loads of bricks and bramble roots. There is still a lot of dead vegetation to move and the weeds I sprayed the other week are starting to wither so they can go soon. I am so looking forward to rotorvating! I know I will have to dig load more roots first, but there is no rush. I just want the place cleared of all the non-carbon-based rubbish that was left by the previous occupant. There is son much of it and it just keeps coming :-(Friendly
Friendly crittersÂ
I appears we have two resident critters on our plot. One is the scratty fox I saw last week. When he/she sees me he/she just stands their defiantly staring at me, so I was quick enough to pull the camera out. Unfortunately, the batteries were dead, so still no fox photo. The other pet I have adopted is a little robin red-breast. I have seen him a couple of times now and he always perches in the same please, when I approach he never fies off very far. I seem to be making friends.
Prime suspect identified
I am pretty sure I have now uncovered the identity of the scrote who twoc’d our incinerator. That is to say, i think I saw him today. He passed by our plot and said ‘hi’. There was something about the way e looked at me that seemed a bit strange. I decided to follow him and sure enough he led to the plot where a couple of weeks ago I had discovered what looked incredibly like our missing burner…
